Foran Equine Cal-Gro Pellets

A pelleted supplement with 10 key ingredients for broodmares, in-foal and lactating mares, foals and youngstock.

Foran Equine says

• It supports cartilage and skeletal development of foals in utero and throughout growth, and optimal foetal development in broodmares.
• It is useful for maiden or older mares, mares that struggle to do their foals well, lactating mares (to enhance the nutritional content of milk) and top-heavy foals or those predisposed to OCD or physitis.
• Calcium and phosphorus are in the ideal ratio of 2:1 to optimise bone development, and chelated copper and zinc are vital through pregnancy to maximise the foal's own stores.
• Silicon is a bioavailable source of silica for healthy bones, tendons and ligaments, and vitamins D and K support calcium absorption and bone formation.
• Its S.A.F.E. (Strict Anti-Doping Formulation Ensured) marking means it is free from prohibited substances and safe for use in competition and racing horses.
