Equi-Ping Safety Release

A plastic safety ring that fixes to the ring you tie your horse to. The lead rope is slipped through it, and the ring is designed to release if the horse panics. It can then be used again.

Equi-Ping says

• If a horse panics, the device releases it, and the ring can be reused.
• It cannot prevent injury in every case, but it says it significantly reduces the risk.
• Safer than tying with string.
• A new security sleeve makes it more versatile.
• Can be used in and outside the stable and while travelling in a horsebox or trailer, and can be left outside in all weathers.
