Adios

Based in the UK, Adios Plastic is on a mission to rid our oceans and landfills of single-use plastics by providing eco-friendly pet essentials. They are best known for their high-quality, certified compostable dog poo bags and plant-based grooming wipes.

Why HHC chose them

We chose to stock Adios Plastic because they align perfectly with our commitment to sustainable country living without compromising on performance or durability. While many "green" alternatives can be thin or prone to tearing, Adios bags are 20 microns thick—significantly stronger than standard plastic versions—giving our customers peace of mind during their daily walks. We love that they are a UK-based business tackling a global problem with practical, high-quality solutions, allowing our community to care for their pets and the environment simultaneously.

Our story

About Adios

Founded by Ben in 2017 after he became aware of the staggering amount of plastic entering the oceans annually, Adios Plastic is a certified B Corp committed to environmental transparency. Their signature product is their line of compostable dog poo bags, which are made from non-GM cornstarch and break down naturally in 3–6 months. Unlike "biodegradable" bags that often leave behind microplastics, Adios products are truly plastic-free and safer for incineration. As members of 1% for the Planet, they also donate a portion of their profits to ocean cleanup and wildlife conservation initiatives.
